This engine runs very well. It's a wonderful little engine, it powers the mustang just fine. I have a muffler I built myself for it, and included a pipe to pressurize the tank. I run the 53 without tank pressure, which works pretty good. I always get a full tank per flight. The 53 is more fussy to tune than the 46, they both turn the same prop, with the 53 being RPMs faster. I've changed the bearings in both engines once. The camshaft idler bearing at the rear of the cam chest seems to starve for oil, and can be tough to get out without damaging the cam chest.

I also have an Enya which is the same design, but doesn't seem to starve the cam idler bearing. You'll want to buy one of those remote glow adapters, as your glo-starter won't clear your prop.
